Privacy Policy

Goa Citizen Services is a citizen-assistance initiative operated by Goa Vikas Party. It is not a government portal, and using it does not enrol you in political messaging.
Information we receive
- When you use Google sign-in, Google provides a verified account identifier and basic profile information such as your name and email address.
- We receive profile, locality and contact preferences only when you choose to provide them for a service request or resident profile.
- We store civic reports, scheme-assistance requests, consent records and status updates needed to provide and audit the requested service.
- We use limited technical and security records to protect accounts, prevent misuse and investigate service errors.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate your account, connect you with your own service records, route requested assistance, provide status updates, prevent duplicate or fraudulent accounts, and meet security or legal obligations.
What not to submit
Read the separate government-scheme assistance privacy notice for consent, temporary Aadhaar processing, printing and deletion rules. Never enter Aadhaar in general service fields.
Do not enter Aadhaar or PAN numbers, bank details, passwords, medical records, or identity-document images into general profile, civic-report or scheme-assistance text fields. The portal will ask only for information needed for the selected service.
Service providers and disclosure
Google provides the sign-in service and Supabase provides authentication and protected data infrastructure. Information may also be shared with an authorised service team or responsible public authority only when needed for the assistance you requested, with consent where required, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and account choices
Records are kept only for account security, service delivery, audit and applicable legal needs. Available portal controls may let you withdraw an active request or remove account-linked data. Some minimal audit or transaction records may be retained where necessary to prevent fraud, preserve service history or comply with law.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls, account-scoped records and audit logging. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please report suspected unauthorised access promptly.
Children
The resident-account and voter-linking services are intended for adults. A parent or lawful guardian should handle any assistance request involving a child.
